I have talked to other real estate agents, emailed them and had conversations with them, but Perry was the one who was the most welcoming; he was the one who seemed to know the most, he is the one who is the most networked. He is the guy who knows how to get you everything you need. Anything from the right hotel, to the right apartment, to the right bank, to the right taxi driver who speaks English. He can hook you up with all the people you need to meet down here when you are trying to get it together to buy property. He has a pretty big network of people who work with him in his office too, as well as his network all over the city. I am quite surprised at how everything is all set up here through Perry. He's amazing! And he is a funny guy too; he cracks the jokes and keeps you feeling light, keeps you happy and makes sure you are not getting stressed out. If you are getting stressed out, he will help you out in what ever way he can to make you feel at ease in a foreign country with a language you might not speak which is a big deal. You have to be with someone who really knows what they are doing because if you do not speak the language and you don't know how the culture works, you really need a mentor. I look at Perry as a mentor, really. He has taught us so much about how to be here in the correct way, how to interface and interact with people, and understand the culture more. He knows so much because he's been here. He does everything from online classifieds and auctions, real estate (which I mentioned before), he can point you to the right immigration lawyers to get into Ecuador, he will help you with shipping containers and getting all your stuff here, he can help you set up a business or at least tell you who to talk to (which lawyer to use, etc.). You need to be careful with the lawyers. You really need to get a recommendation from someone like Perry as to which is the right lawyer to use because they have used a few and found out which ones are good and bad. You have to hook up with someone who's already made the mistakes and found out which ones are good and bad and can save you from making the same mistakes. There is no better teacher than someone who has already been there. And this is the guy! He can help you with getting a rental, or getting heavy equipment for building your house, he can hook you up with contractors, he can help you with buying and selling gold and silver, he can help with buying guns and ammo (we asked him "do you know anything about that?" He said, "Well, I know a little bit..."). So, I'm telling you, if you need to work with someone and you want to come down here and buy property in Ecuador, this is the most amazing choice. I would not recommend anyone else and I have worked with some others and Perry is the right one; he is the right choice. I promise; he's a good choice. - Christine Breeze, USA
